As for your discussion pics. The first pic you have the guys correctly ID'ed. The second pic from left to right,unidentified dude(not PM),Dietrick,Wittman,unidentified dude,probably Dietricks' adjutant,he also is the dude to the right in the last pic of dietrick and wittman. I believe Wittman got his u-boat leathers while his unit was in Italy with the LSSAH as he was in the 13th Company(Tigers) of the 1SS Pz Regt. This was before they were transferred to the newly formed Tiger Bn and the 13th Company was disbanded.

JERRY, Thanx for th picture I.D. !! As far as th soldier goes ... I have some .015 that I use for soldiering P.E. it'll come in handy as MIc & headphone cables ... IF that's too small I also have some .1" lead Fly Fishing tying wire & some Fly Tying Copper wire. I'm set. The use of th Telephone wire seems to , at least in scale, match th Big Power cables for the Power Transformers

Just another Up-Date .... This time th Turret !! I've added th rest of the Verlinden Through the Hatch Detail for th Turret, but it looks a little sparse in spots , so I still might add a few things.

You can see from here ... th dreaded Ejector pin marks - filled with Mr. Dissolved Putty, I also took some EverGreen strip & added the holder for the M.P. 40 :dude

I've added a stowage bin made from som EverGreen sheet stock - You can never have too much stowage rollin around th Normandy Countryside !!

I also added the handle for the hand wheel on the Commander's Manuel traverse & I also added one on the Gunner's Traverse

The Great Equalizer !! I added some Foil from a Klondike Bar wrapper - Heath Toffee , on the basket that catches the Spent shells. It needed something as it had 4 good sized Ejector pin marks & no texture - Originally it was made from canvas.

That's about it for now .... all that's left is the Roof & Then I can move to th Exterior - Not a lot there, basic kit stuff, but I will add parts from the Verlinden Tiger I Up-Date set - I'll take th Fenders, Rear Stowage Box & some clamps !!

WoW ! After reading 2 Blog Builds of This Exact kit over on Military MOdeling .. neither Guy mentions that th Breech Block is Missing , but it is Clearly missing in Their Builds !! Thanx DRAGON ... Geez .. Can you use some Lube Next Time ..... :bang head

It is real easy to scratch so no big deal to make your own. It seems Dragon followed David Byrden's drawings without reading where he stated it was incomplete and the breech had a falling (vertically aligned) block.

Well This has crashed th rest of My night as I've just spent th last 2 hours reading BLogs & reviews of this Kit to find out that Only One person has noticed that th Breech does not come in th Gun ... Not that I expect many of th Reviewers - b/c none did a Build review. A Few Blogers missed this il feature but Whaddya gonna do ? Most of those Guys build this Kit with th Hatches closed so It probably didn't even cross Their mind - as It didn't even cross MIne ..... Thanx again SHARK for th Save !! :drinks :drinks

@ RON - It's just disappointing When Dragon drops th Ball like this. Sure .. They never promoted an Interior ... but If you're gonna include th Interior parts of the Gun .... Why not do ALL of th Gun .. I mean look at th Bow M.G. .... They could have just given you th Barrel ... Naw .. They go all out & Give you th Whole Assembly .... so why not do it for th Main Gun ! You'd think They'd never done an 88mm before !!

@ MOONIE- Sounds like you need a New Macro Lens !! :D I've been scopin' out that Mustang !! Lookin Good BTW !! :drinks


Well ... Now it's time to get back on th Bench & whip up a Breech Block & get th lil' bit done to th Roof .... Then It's time to Shoot some Color on this Turret !! Then I'll weather the Whole Panzer before I slam th Upper Hull & Roof on ! Oh !! Plus I have some Interior Stencils from verlinden to add , for some Flavor !!
