I’ve been tinkering with this idea for a while now, so time to put it onto the forum and get some feedback from folks here.
There are two driving factors behind this: First, it’s (as far as I can make it), ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’; there are no barriers to type, scale or preference, whatever your modeling preference there should be a subject in here you can contribute if you want - (I'd be very open to 'What If' ideas also). Second, it’s entirely selfish from my perspective – not certain that you guys are aware, but before we came-out to New Zealand I’d been a (proud) member of Her Majesty’s Coastguard back in the UK, serving as a Search & Rescue Co-Ordinator for ten-and-a-half fantastic years… Best job I ever had !!
So in no particular order here’s just some of the subjects you may like to consider for a Search and Rescue campaign.
Vehicles
Battlefield ambulances, airfield ambulances and/or fire engines, civilian ambulances and/or fire engines/appliances.
Ships
Air Sea Rescue Launches, hospital ships, harbor/fire tugs, Coastguard vessels (any nationality).
Aircraft
Casevac/Medevac helos & fixed wing, SAR helos & fixed wing, Ocean patrollers, etc.
Ok, over to you lot, tell me what you think, if there’s enough positive reaction, then I’ll tee-up a vote in a few days.
