BOMBER COMMAND REFERENCE PHOTOS

I have many (conservatively hundreds) of photos. While I can batch upload them, finding them and adding them one at a time with Joomla is a pain. Any advice?

Tupolev Tu-20

I have the B-24. B-25, a B-25 firing up movie, Il-10, Il-28 and much more. If ground attack is on the table, I have loads of Su-7/17/20/22 also.

Burn them to disc and then flog them here for a small sum to cover disk, time, and shipping?? I'm game if you are. Oh and very cool pics.

Thanks James,

While I keep all the large size files for myself, I want to share the smaller sizes for free. My only issue is getting them into the post in batch WITHOUT using photobucket.

;)

You haven't looked at the image upload page in a while. We have batch upload on the front side now, zip all images into a single file, no subdirectories, and upload them to a category and they will process as normal.

That is exactly how I batch upload. My issue is finding several images to post at once whereas I must find each one individually and then copy the target URL to add into the IMG brackets...

I know I am not seeing something obvious. I guess I am REALLY tired from all this work.

Guess you are tired, with your double post... :woohoo:

Yes, this is a sore spot for me also. Perhaps there will be solution to that soon.

Details, good for the Trumpeter or Italeri/Bilek kit with the Part PE sets:

Now I await the verdict on ground attack (bombs are definitely used to soften targets) before posting the Sukhoi 7/17/20/22 images.

Regards,

Post them please. I'm tying to get a SU17/20 and I have decals on preorder so pics would be very welcome.
James

It will be a new post. Are you getting the large Russian 1/32nd scale resin kit or Eduard's ex KP Su-7/17/20/22?

Regards,

I want to get the LEM 1/32 kit. I have their Mig 27 and its a beaut. And Zotz is taking orders for a special decal sheet for the 22. Its just finding the money and winning the ebay thing. But eventually I will have one.
James

Good, the LEM is of the later variant and I have plenty of photos. If you find any Eduard update sets for the Trumpeter 1/32nd scale armaments, they will work fine for the LEM kit as it is what was used as a master.

Same with the ejection seat. Are you planning the Tiger Head? Eli did not have my permission to publish my Peruvian aircraft photos on his decal sheet instruction but I can send you the original full size scans if you are building that one. Also, I have a list of possible upgrades... I get a feeling Trumpeter may release this as a kit.

Regards,

Saul, did the SU7 have a bomb bay? Was it designed as a bomber? I'm not going to make a call on it, I'll let Terry do that, his GB.

Hi Moon Puppy,

The Sukhoi series were ground attack aircraft. this means that they use all sorts of air to ground weapons from bombs to rockets, to cannon fire. None had an internal bomb bay (the Il-2 and Il-10 do and they are in the same category).

I will make them a gallery entry instead.

Regards,

But the IL2 did have a Bombbay. I've seen pictures...

But in the end, Terry was clear, slinging bombs under the wings is not in his idea of the Bomber Command GB.

100 photos of the Sukhoi ground attack (7UM/20/22M-3, and -M4) have been uploaded via FTP. While the Polish Su-22 were tasked with delivering nuclear bomb strikes to the Netherlands, these would have been carried externally. As such, I will try to create a gallery entry. All I need to do is figure out how it can be done easily.

Hi Saul, I'd love whatever pics you have. I'm not sure what scheme to do although I already have a book and 1/32 decals for Iraqi birds. Even though I will get the kit eventually I am hamstrung by lack of finances especially now my wife has also lost her job so everything is conjecture. One day though.
James

Well, if you do not mind a smaller scale, I can help as I have more than I need when it comes to markings.

PM me to discuss.

Re:BOMBER COMMAND REF PHOTOS"P-51 MUSTANG"

This is not bomber, but it is too pretty not to show.
