With some bench time over the weekend I got the cockpit buttoned up and am able to go foward on the engine ....


Built up the exhaust and then started on the frame, firewall and plumbing....

Built it oob with only a change of hydraulic hose, thought the kits ones were too thick. Sweet little that just fell together.

Small progress on the plane, Trying to finich the cowling frame work and motor mount...

Do need a little help. Trying to figure out what the horizontal control linkage??? is for in this pic. Have not seen this in my other ref. stuff.

Can't figure out to draw on my pics but is in front of the cylinders and looks like it heads toward that little gizmo on the prop housing.

Is that really linkage? The item on top of the crankcase (differential cover) is the propeller governor but I don't recall seeing the bar across and above it.

I don't see it here...

I think you are right, that rod does not belong there. That pic looks like it is of a engine on the ground so it could be anything.
