I.J.N. FUSO 1944

I just did some reading on the fate of the Fuso. Sunk early on during the Battle of Surigao Straight by destroyers firing torpedoes. Her sister ship then went on to get ripped apart by ships that survived the Pearl Harbor attack.
 
Interesting looking ship . It looks to have modern ( WW II ) feature and yet it has some that remind me of the earlier battle wagons .

Hmm , the hull really makes me think of latter times though which made me wonder . The upper structure looks more WW I style.
