That is all for now, as always your comments are welcomed!

That is so nice. And it just keeps getting better and better. It will be one of those dioramas that you could look at for hours a day, and still find detail weeks after you start. Just fantastic.

.... why didn´t I found this post before!!! ... I REALLY had a really nice time watching carefully your impressive work .... just superb

Wow. This is one of those 'once in a while' great dios that really impress me. The level of detail in your work is eyecrossingly brilliant. I would drool to pull it off in 1/35th let alone Braille.
Topping it all off is the realistic nature of the paintjob. No toys here.

My best part is all the machinery and small details you have included. Where do you get your references for it all? I ask as it has been my aim to include a few similar details in my BR52 work.Much of the photos and drawings of such stuff I have seen so far is generaly too old and grainy to work out any level of detail. I want it to have that grimy industrial look you seem to have captured perfectly.

Most impressive. I cant believe its Braille scale. I cant even do that with 1/35. Wow.
James

Oh my god that is awesome the level of detail is just excelent well thought out its just one of those projects that i love to look at with a long cool drink a ciggi and just take it all in and that scale cant wait to see more .now putting my failing 52 year old eyes back in there sockets

Great Work Chris

Thank you Gals and Guys for all the nice comments

Ozzie Jo,

Do not have any ref. pics on photobucket to load here but have a couple of more machinary photos if that will be any help...

Also, the reference god that is "Cheyenne" here on tnt has some shots in his gallery that might be useful. Some nice factory interior stuff.

This is just mind blowing...I just want to walk in and fire up some of the machine. It looks so realistic I am sure it even has that machine shop smell of oils, metal, blow torches and stuff. A fantastic job you did.

Joe

Pure Eye candy to the extreme ! This is the single best 1/72nd scale work I have seen .

I am sure if Laura put the photos through her aging program that you could not convince someone theat they are real photographs !

i should have reduced the grain with some pics but what the heck ...

All the little touches-like the plank reinforcement under that heavy lathe- add up to one impressive whole. Amazing!

Thanks you all for the nice comments.

Laura, that is so cool the way you did the photos :) :)

Just so I don't confuse anybody, the last set of 4 photos is of a 1/48 scale model I did.

Joe, actually I can fire up the lathe :) I have a short little bit on you tube that shows the steam engine running and the lathe operating. I'll dig that up and post a link to it.
