Dragon M48A3 Mod B Viet Nam 11th Armored 1969

Just a little bit done on the engine deck. Started doing some plate and casting texture. I'll sand the shinny places and then add some welds by Archer (been wanting to give them a try)

Great work, I am interested to see how those weld beads work, as I have some and have not tried them yet.

Follow along and maybe we both will learn something new

I hope you read through this review. A few things to add. The film doesn't like any rough surfaces much like regular decals. If placed directly onto bare plastic, the edges remain prominent and can be seen under a coat of paint. If the part has primer paint applied, the edges feather into the paint during the decal process.

Ran up to Bird City yesterday to recheck the engine deck on the M60A3 there and got a bonus of it having different styles of steel road wheels.

Not sure if you guys have seen the discussions about the road wheels in the kit, but they are missing a lip on the outer-inner edge (best way I know to describe it) I did notice some of the "lips" had a beveled edge while others did not. So here is some shots of steel wheels.

Then why the hell do I work so hard to remove seam lines on the road wheels when they have seam lines on the road wheels??? :bang head

:rotf

Yeah, I've always noticed that and brought it to a lot of people's attention. Still, you get slammed whenever you forget to remove them.
