Here are some pics I took recently of the last model I finished. I have been working on another, (IN WIP), for a long time and it is still far from finished. this is in 120mm scale. It is called "The Limits of Glory" and depicts Napoleon and his Marshalls at Fontainebleau palace debating his giving up the throne after Waterloo.
An overall shot. The marble is all hand painted, the floors are parquet bass wood stained and polished. I made various things like the books and bookcases and then cast them, The desk is made from scratch, as are the curtains, etc.
At the time, Verlinden and I had only a single marshall in production at the time, so I had to convert six of them to various poses, then sculpt all the heads except the courier to resemble the real Marshalls. I used paintings of them to sculpt both them and Napoleon.
A courier delivers a document. The fireplace works with miniature lighting and blinkers.
