Bob,

He trimmed both sides of the tape and painted it rubber. They are the toothed belts you see driving the cog wheels in the later photos.

Making up some hubs and rotors. Hubs are made from a hunk of white metal and washers with 'Scale Hardware' studs

Using the wheels and tires from the Sportsman kit, actually two sets of rims and some rims from the parts box, all to get a deep enough rim and a bead lock on both inside and outside of the tire...
