Been too nice to do modeling what with a garden to put in and all ;) Here's progress on my Vietnam Patton:

So some feedback on the weathering-- too much? Let me know folks ;)
 
Looks pretty good so far. In regards to weathering, it depends on the location of the vehicle and time of year. Is this going to be off-road so to speak or is it going to be running convoy security, etc? Depending on the terrain it is going through will depend on how much weathering (mainly making it dirty) would be needed. One thing that I do see needs to be shown is some mud or dirt where the crew has climbed around on the vehicle to get into their hatches and load ammo, etc. The flat surfaces would have a layer of dust or dirt.

Can't wait to see it finished.

Great weathering.
Streaks where the red dirt gets washed off the hull during the rains, may add a little more character to the vehicle.

Thanks for the looks and the tips everyone! I'm in the midst of end of the school year chaos right now- between grading state assessments and filling out of the stupid pointless paperwork...and meetings that could've​ been emails- I haven't had the energy for modeling up in the room...next Friday I'll be free and clear ;)
 
I imagine I could keep on going with weathering and still be pretty accurate...but I go with the philosophy of stop before you think you did enough ;)

wow NEAT! I recently purchased this very same model and may do it as my "Army" build for this Campaign! Hope mine turns out half as well!
