Star Trek Penguin - 23rd Century starship

I copied this from the StarTrek Museum website, and scratch built it in 1/72 scale. It is formed from 40 lb density REN foam, primed with gray laquer, and painted with Tamiya acrylics. My friend Steve graciously made the decals with his "special" printer. Both ship and photon torpedo (turned aluminum) are suspended with brass rod from the REN foam
cliff.

Thank you for visiting everyone.

Moon Puppy, REN foam is a high density foam board used to do tooling proofs of NC programming before cutting the actual material. It comes in a variety of densities. I take the scraps and use it to make models. This particular foam (the actual color is the cliff holding up the model) is 40lb. density stuff.
