Re: Sd.kfz 7/1 armored cab (conversion)

Awesome PE work. I have used a lot of Aber in the past, but that is one thing I dont think I'd try. Man oh man it looks awesome though. Well done (y) (y) (y) (y) :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

Thank you James :drinks
I love Aber PE, but sometimes I think they could make less details :)
While I solder magazines, I thought that instead of three it was possible to make one detail...

Ammo magazines and box

Here is some soldered stuff

one box and 5 magazines I decided to use sometime later.

Next I'll make some washes and filters over german gray...

And I need an idea how to make earth lumps... :hmmm

Re: Ammo magazines and box

Nice soldering!

About the jerry can details, you nailed it (looks fabulous). I have a difficult time getting several of the jerry can flip tops to look identical. So, I have asked an aftermarket company to make them available (open and closed) in sets of six. You simply cut off the kit spout and add the resin super detailed one without having to bend and solder PE!

James, your comment is awesome :rotf

Saul, where this set of flip tops available? I'm agree with you that Aber flip tops are over sized.

I gave the suggestion and the company is considering it. I will post if they move forward.
