For some reason, I was thinking Chevy Impala:

This is a nice 1959 model with a much younger one. In its low rider state, hardly the off road vehicle needed to represent its namesake!

The SS denotes Super Sport...

OK, you guys didn't know I like hot rods so let's just keep that between us.
:coolio ;)

Wow, I don't remember my dad's 59 Impala looking that nice.

Of course he didn't have that fancy hood ornament either :blink

Sorry Phil no PE or resin the SA option inside is the same plane my friend did his first jet solo in I am thinking of giving the kit to him as a surprise.

Cool Dave, I will enjoy this as I don't think I have seen one of these built up, interesting little plane.

I build this kit when I was 11 or so Ernie back when it still was an ESCI kit. We used to get them fly overhead with F1 mirages and Shackletons I miss those merlins purrrrrrs.

Yep will do an SA one Ron

Great choice, Dave. Especially looking forward to seeing this come-together, as I've got the two-seater (in the original Esci box), in the stash and was only 'fondling' it a couple of weeks ago.

Off-ya-go, then :popcorn
