O yeah,...I do enjoy this! (y)

'GUNZE' was one of the first brands to do multi-media kits,it was kind of a novelty in the days it was released.
Ofcourse with Dragon releases nowadays it's not that special anymore.

Lets do this wildcat,Mike! :)

:popcorn

Greetings,Ron.

Nice. How did you make those bolts on the mud guard? They look so uniform. Are they Squadron green stuff?
Very cool so far (y) (y) (y)

Greetings Guys,and Gals;

Thank you all for your comments .............. :mpup

Ron,

To answer to your question........... I understand, and realize my abilities.
But, that is not important. What is important is try to help other people
to find the place in life, where they feel free, and comfortable.

Looks good,wow,all that AM came with the kit ?

Having a build that is eerily similar, I can answer most of it. The Gunze Sangyo kit came in white styrene with white metal parts and some PE. No engine bay was included. What you see looks exactly like mine in that it is with a Verlinden engine bay from their Super Set line.

The rear stowage bins are not from the kit and may be Tamiya or Italeri (both being of the same vintage as the kit).

A wonderful fact is that Dragon took the Gunze Sangyo molds and released the kits as almost all styrene under their Imperial Line series (9xxx box numbers). So all the AM stuff for the Gunze Sangyo kit fites perfectly.

Greetings Saul, and fellow modeling friends;

The storage bins are Tamiya, and at that time where ok, but they are not up-to
the standards we have now days, they will be replace.

The welds are made from two part ribbon putty. In the States you can get it
at walmart, or at some hardware stores. I have several different diameter paper
clips that I use to work the putty with...... Note: keep paper clip damp with
water to keep the putty from sticking to it.
..... originally I was only going to put welds in the track wells, but, as you can
see, I kind of got carried away....... :D

Some of Gunze Sangyo's PE parts where made out of stainless steel and very hard to work with.
At the time I was un-aware of the process of annealing the metal to take the spring out
of it.

Thanks, for all of the kind words, and have a great day...... :mpup

Greetings All;

.... A little off subject, but it is a Panther......... :D

Walter J. Spielberger was a Jagd-Panther commander during
the Second World War. In his book Panther & it's warrants,
pg. 194, We see a photo of his tank after being pelted several
times by Anti-Tank guns.
