Iron Mike
Master At Arms And Resident Curmudgeon
This morning, we went over to Chesnee, South Carolina for the annual Antique Bikes On Main show. It was a beautiful morning, compared to the sweltering July we've had and we were not disappointed by the turnout. I took a few shots of some of the better stuff and we got to be first to watch the Wall Of Death Thrill Show!
Inside the pavilion, looking down.
Nothing fake about this action!
Contributions to the riders assistance fund were made.
Michelle took video of the entire show, I'll post that link later.
Outside, under the bright sunshine again!
The entire town of Chesnee had bikes everywhere!
I have a thing for Indians, as you will notice. B)
It wasn't just antiques bikes...
This must have been the rough part of town, as the sign warns.
Play spot the photographer in the photo.
I also dig Triumphs.
Chris spotted this small block Chevy powered ride.
Mechanical details make the bike for me.
Ducati!
Snapshots don't do this paint justice, looks like marble.
More British steel.
More of what I came for.
Look closely and you can spot the photographer again.
This is something you don't see every day!
More details.
Some very smooth lines.
Chris' wife, Lisa, showing off her new paint job.
Is it our turn yet???
Below, Lisa (left) and Michelle (right) dared the ferris wheel (of doom).
They survived!
Lisa did share her lemonade with Chris.
Still a few more to come, stay tuned!
