Looks like a very nice kit! Build looks great so far.
Been thinking about building one of these for a really long time. Remember seeing one at a model contest probably close to 20 years ago, that was being held at a National Guard Armory, and right in the center of the room where the contest was being held, was an M109, and it was open so people could climb up in it and look around, and ever since I've wanted to build one. Looking back I really wish I'd taken pic's of it, but I don't remember if I even had a camera w/ me during that show.
