Adventures in soldering : The GT40 Project

Excellent workmanship Randy! There is a lot of fine detail that can only be done in metal. What did you use for the fastener bits on the flanges of the silver pipes? That detail really seemed to pop!

I've never seen brass done this way before you are a true master of brass work ...... being a model railroader from back in the sixties ........ a brass locomotive was a real thing of beauty to have ....... trust me the brass engines that brung high dollars of that era ...... were never made at this level of craftsmanship nor never had the quality that I see in your workmanship ....... :ro: :dude ....... :notworthy

Next is building up the steering rack. Using some flexible corrugated piping and heat shrink tubing to make this unit operate so I can pose the front wheels...
