1/72 Messerschmitt Bf.110E from 5./ZG "Wespen"

Hello everyone,

No sense in waiting to build the next disaster, am I right?

So here is the Eduard Profipack 1/72 Messerschmitt Bf.110E which I will assemble as one of the "vesps" serving in the russian front (aircraft S9 + NN, 5./ZG flown by Lt. Herbert Kutscha in 1942).

The Eduard kit Comes with all the necessary PE and masks. It has a ton of extra material, so maybe I will be doing a Diorama with all extras left :ro:

The Details are not yet up to par with the likes of Tamiya or Hasegawa but also not so bad. The decals are great, lots of Options and the PE is perfect.

Here the first Pictures of the Initial assembly. Let's see if I can pull this off.

Cheers

Alex

Hey everyone!

Thanks for the comments and encouragement.

I am acting Chairman of the pediatric surgery department during this month, so I haven't been able to work all that much in the Bf.110. In any case, here is the Progress. I think I am getting the hang of the weathering, it is looking better IMHO.

This Eduard kit is nice but still a lot of sanding and adjusting required. Does not compare to the Tamiyas or Hasegawas or Academys...

The good Thing is that they come with the full monty - PE, Mask, Brassin.

Here is the partial assembly with internal painting and weathering.

Thank you so much Mark and Luiz. You guys are ever so Kind. Appreciated.

Here is some work done on the Office, almost ready. Slowly I am getting the hang of These washes, the trick seems to dilute them much more than when it already appears good to the naked eye...
and then some more!

Thanks for looking.

Cheers

Alex

That looks just as nice as their 48th scale offerings! My 72nd scale Wespen is a bit different aircraft:

Hello dear friends

Sorry I have neglected you a bit but it has been sooo busy around here. It is 18:50h and I have just left the OR; operating since 08:00 AM :java :java

Saul, that model of the Caudron is COOL!!! RS models has been producing a few nice and different models. Best is that you can get them direct in the CZ Republic really cheap.

Here is the Progress this week:
