Can a silk Purse be made out of this Sow's Ear?

While the kit really is a pig's ear, I did start the build.

The lower hull needed to have the fuel ports removed and the belly plate had all bogus hatches removed and updated so it can be closer to my standards:

Front plate had the transmission access hatch replaced with one leftover from Dragon's botched Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. D grafted in.
