There is one thing to be careful of on the Tamiya kit, which I got wrong when I used CA to attach the nose weight which is also part of the nose gear bay. It is supposed to be left loose as it is trapped securely by other parts. It was slightly off where I glued it and that resulted in a small gap on the sides.

I keep reading about nose weight, looking in the box I don't see one.

It looks like this:

This is looking up, the curve mates with the inside of the lower fuselage. It forms the nose wheel bay and the gun bay sits on top of the flat area in the middle.

It should be in a bag stapled to the wall of the box bottom near one of the corners, Bob.
