The tracks are now on. They're some of the poorest rubber band style ones I've used but they're on and will look ok with a couple of touch ups. I will post pics soon.

Tom there are some fit issues, (wheel halves, care needed with the PE) but altogether it's a fairly easy job! I'd recommend the kit, when I got it it was quite cheap HTH Stitch

Ok chaps I've not been posting, but that don't mean I've not been building. I built this straight from the box, which included PE light guards and great detail allround, the unfortunate thing is that in typical Hobbyboss style, the detail is good, but the fit is rather poor. The weathering has...

    Mig acrylic resin

I see... so the idea would be to apply the resin and pigments seperately... that may work, and also be more economical, as you'd need less pigments to coat the surface than you would mixing it in.... Thanks for the advice guys, this is what I was looking for. Stitch

Li'l update for y'all! I've added some long grass (brush bristles, not entirely happy with how it looks, any tips welcome), painted the shorter grass in various shades of green etc, painted up the ammo box, added small areas of wet mud (coating of Klear) and I'm in the process of doing the...

    Mig acrylic resin

Hi there folks. Has anyone used the above? and what's their experience of it? I did a test run on a spare wheel I had lying about and I dunno I'm just not convinced by it, it's not "right" but I cant put my finger on it. I followed the instructions on the tub, 30% plaster 30% resin 40%...

    Painting tarpaulin / fabric

Hi folks, I have a tarpaulin to paint, I've done the base shade in mid-earth and I'm looking for tips on getting it a bit more "3D". I am going to wash / drybrush, but I'm sure I read somewhere that I can wash the matt surface without glossing it,giving a subtle dirty effect, but I can't...

    Italeri Pak 38

Hmm possibly easy to scratchbuild then! The ones in the kit are more akin to gramophone cases, or even 37/40mm AA ammo, nothing like these ones!!

    ME410 All the Way

Wierd, makes me wonder why all that energy had to be wasted out the exhaust rather than tweaking the engine to convert it into useful power... Insanely good work Chuk. You make molding new parts look like business as usual!!! Stitch
