DML Bergepanzerwagen IV

Yes! Armor that most intrigues me ironically isn't tanks per say. I find the specialized mission equipment (recovery, AAA, SAM, etc) are the vehicles that grab my attention the most.

I've got a modern armor crane/recovery rig (USMC AAVR-7A1 RAM/RS) in the stash waiting for a GB. I was hoping to build it for the AFV GB, but never heard whether it was ok or not, as while based off an AFV chassis it didn't actually carry armed troops. Just the recovery/repair crew.

I'll be watching this. :popcorn

Chris, this site has a just started Recovery/Maintenance GB any time period or type.

I had this in the stash for a dio my late brother wanted to build together and thought their GB would be a reason to build it.

Bob most recovery or resupply wagon could easily be converted back for battle if need be by the Germans.

Thanks guys

Update

More Paint:

Since Recovery vehicles were kept and operated far behind the lines they were only painted with the base color of the day most of the time,Panzer Olive Green was the base color from late 1944 until the end of the war. I used a combination of Life Color and Tamiya Olive Green, separate not mixed of coarse and a sealer coat before applying any detail colors or washes.

That's it for today guys
Tony lee :)
