No problem Gerry.

Here is a couple things I've learned;

1) The kit is a 1917 Ford body made in the States. Which is a copy of a French design.

2) Ford did build/assemble and paint them complete. These were badly damaged during shipping. So from then on Ford put all the parts and sub assemblies (unpainted) in crates then shipped the cars to France. Once there the cars would be assembled and painted. Now these were only used by American Army and field service. (Maybe the French I'm not sure yet, but don't think they did.) All the Allies did use the Ford Model T as ambulances with bodies of their own design during the war. I can give photo examples if you want.

The chassis walk around is my Great Grandfathers car, or the Riedesel first car. It was assembled at 6th and Broadway in Denver. Car was being restored by my Grandfather when he passed. Now my father and I are working to finish it.

Gerry another thing, the radiator shell does not have the Ford script. While can be wrong, on most versions this could be true. It appears there was another radiator shell and radiator was available. To me it looks to an aftermarket version. Possible due to the amount of damage the radiators took, it seams someone came up wih replaceable cores. I'm still researching.

Now do I do a Ford body or French :hmmm

Thanks Jeff ... looks good I don't have time to look this over good but looks like your on your way with it ... I just recovered from a bad head cold I've spent 7 days on allergy pills & Alka-Seltzer plus ... Head is starting to clear ... :woohoo:

Those bad head colds are really making their rounds. I came down with one on Christmas eve. Then my wife had one New Years eve. When mine was almost over it came back with a vengeance 1/25/17. Feeling almost 100% now if that's possible at my age. :sick:

Nice photos !! Waiting to see the build. Gary S.

Jeff I don't see Ford script on radiator ... One question ... The box inside under the dash is wood ? ... Also Does the radiator have the ball cap ?
