We visited St. Marys while we waited for LT (jg) Jake Christianson to get off duty, so here are some interesting pictures for all you sewer-pipe sailors and enthusiasts.

This painting stirred my heart. USS Wahoo, SS-238. Lt. Commander Dudley "Mush" Morton, and his Crew, in their final resting place. Found recently off Hokkaido, on Eternal Patrol, in the La Perouse strait. :salute :drinks

Rising sun flags are for sunken IJN Warships. White/red dot flags signify sunken cargo vessels.
The battle flags are an unofficial tally kept by the crew of the Boats. Walt Disney's crew created many of the characters you see on WWII flags & patches.
