This looks like it's going to be an exclusive club. Drop a post to your completed ship to claim the Shipbuilder's Campaign Ribbon.

Well first done with this nice little Trumpeter 1/144 Type XXIII U-Boat. Still hope to get the Titanic done in time but it will be close on that one.

I was just thinking the other day about pulling my sub back out and working on it. Nice looking ribbon.

Excellent work on the sub Nerdling!

Thanks guys. I didn't realize this was one of John's last ribbons. I will use it proudly. Thinking with the huge pagoda on that ship it has to be a Japanese Battleship.

Finished my USS Charlotte on Friday.

Overall pretty happy w/ how its come out. Got a few things I think I might go back later and try to correct, but for now its done! Next weekend I'll start working on building the display base.

Here is my US Navy Gato class submarine by Trumpeter in 1/144 scale.

Cheers,

Bill

Outstanding finish Bill, the display really sets it apart.

You should see your Campaign Ribbon by the time you read this. (y)

After some time, I finally have something to submit here. This is my 1/700 scale Arleigh Burke-class USS Forrest Sherman completed:

Thanks all for looking in, comments are welcome.

Well, after over one year of work on and off but full on for the past 6 months - here it comes, my largest diorama so far.
Revell's 1/72 U-69 - "Predator" - the name was suggested by a very dear friend, to whom I dedicate this diorama.

Cannon is after market resin and PE

Bronze sheet with chrome / mirror letters. Bought them from the hardware store, this one was easy :D

Letters cut by hand from the same bronze sheet, this was a bit of a nightmare, but I think it turned out ok.

Well, this is the end of this build.

I have to say a big thank you to everyone who was kind enough to look at my build, who commented on it, made suggestions and so on. It has been a great journey, thank you all for making it a memorable one.

I have shown this build to several of my non modeling friends and all are amazed at the realism you've imparted. Well done! (y) :drinks
