T-26 mod 1939 (COLD STEEL) DONE!! 26 January

Hi folks!

While HobbyBoss didn't made T-26 with sloped side armor and conical turret, I decided to make a conversion using Zvezda (T-26 mod 1933) and Komplect ZIP (conical turret with stamped mask and sloped side armor) kits

I'll also use Eduard PE and probably MR Models or/and Komplect ZIP rollers

Zvezda made late type rollers and idler, so I will not replace them with MR models (late type) or Komplect ZIP (early type) rollers.
Having rummaged in granaries I found fantastic exhaust from MOSKIT :)

This week end progress...
I made all rollers and suspension carts... and ready to make tracks

The turret is done :) I replaced the DT barrel with metal from Aber. Hatches are dry fitted and I cut one periscope as is on my reference photo :)

I made exhaust bracing, used 2 MR models rollers, chain and jack from dragons T-34
