Howdy All, Kinda hard to follow the Master with his sweet road grader :D :D but somebody has to do it.

Have been itching to build this one for a while...

Looks like a nice kit but I thought a engine would look good. Some web searching turned up the following pics..

Here is the kit hull...

On the bad side, could not find any plans for this. On the positive side, plenty of ref. for the motor and trany as they are civilian models.

Will build this to fill a specific space without getting hung up on measuring every part.

The medium on this will be styrene with some metal work involved.

Made up the basic block then started to add layers of detail....

The parts are all mocked up with rubber cement for now as I think I will cast this in resin.

Thats amazing. I'd buy a couple if you cast some and sell. Watching you scratch is like a drug. Need more. :D

Next up is the blower which sits between the heads. Pretty much the desiel engine's intake manifold.

Next is the oil pan. Going to do this in two parts. The reason I was thinking of casting this is this motor was used in the M-113A3 and the Sherdian, which are both in the stash. The oil pans are different along with other things...
