Hi Folks,

Here are some pics of a 1/48th scale diorama that I built awhile ago for a contest at my local train club.

The subect is a repair shop for a small backwoods logging operation.

I posted some photos and a video of some of the interior as an example of machinary in my other post "Battle in the Low Countries. Laura did a really cool job on them!!


The structure is of my design and built up from basswood. The machines are white metal kits and the lathe actually operates.

I just spent the last 30 minutes just eating all this up.

Outstanding work Randy! Do you have any work in progress on this, would love to see how you came up with these parts and the different techniques. I can even see nail heads in the wall of the building, that's amazing.
