Two Wheels and Nasty

Hi Folks, Ever since Terry posted his walker I have been getting an itch to try something different. Going for a "Mad Max" kinda end of days zombie killing machine.

Found a 1/12th scale bike kit in the sale bin at my LHS and had a starting point...

Okay, I realize the chain is waaaaay out of scale but this is sci fi:)

Not going to use alot from the kit but some of it will work.

Decided to go with the kit engine and go from there with some scratch work....

Man don't get your foot caught in that chain!! Very cool!

Very cool looking updates, Randy! I wonder what caliber brass would make good ends for your tanks? The primer pin in the ends would be kinda Jesse James meets Mad Max. :D

Terry, Yes, must be careful until I build the guard!

Mike, OOOOOOOH!! I like that idea:lol:

MP, Wonder if I can find a Mel doll in 1/12th scale:hmmm

Erik, Thanks for commenting!

Looking for a "figure" to ride the beast?? See if you can find a Coree "Need For Speed". She's made to ride the Yammerhammer YZR, but would probably straddle the Honda just find, thank you. What's it look like?

Sorry about the lighting, this was shot with my old camera, guess you get the drift?

Mel, naw...that thing would need someone like one of the burly bikerdudes with a mohawk...really fun looking build!

Mike, Nice BABE, does that come in a plain brown wrapper???

Thanks for checking in Terry:)

MP, You hit the nail on the head, just having fun, not a reference in sight:D

Just small progress, the kit is a bit lame on the details for the cables and wiring, just a length of tubing thats about the size of a garden hose!!!

003-41.jpg

Going to have to build up the electrical system and wiring harness...

Hey Randy!
Doesn't look out of scale to me, keep going! (y) Nope, Need For Speed came in a box WITH box art. :D As if I needed reference material!!!

Mike, I'm not going there about whether you need ref or not:laugh: Do need to find something for figs, got all excited when I found Tamiya's 1/12th pit crew set at a garage sale but then opened the box!! Will have to post some pics of the contents later so everyone can appreicate them, amazingly bad!!!

Small progress.....

Trying a couple of different ways to do some fenders. The clubhouse leader at this time is heating and shaping thin plastic over a wood form...

Going to start on some paint so I can put in the wiring system.....
