Goodguys SE Nationals At Charlotte Motor Speedway

Iron Mike

Master At Arms And Resident Curmudgeon
Hey Kats & Chicks! The Goodguys Rod & Custom Southeast Nationals took over Charlotte Motor Speedway for the weekend and man, what a show! Michelle and I got there mid morning and the joint was jumpin'! Here's just some of the rides to be seen.

We came in through the east gates, right on the back stretch.

You don't see an autographed A/C Cobra, a Henry J Coupe, or the venerable 1969 Red Cyclone everyday! Good Job, Rovin' Shutterbug!!

Pretty sure that Ford Coupe and the Corvair was at the other show Chris and I saw. Great pictures, good and in focus (y)

Hope y'all had a good time Mike.

That Ford coupe? Sorta like saying "That guy" at this show. :rotf

I told Michelle at one point that if I saw one more Camaro, I was gonna puke. :facepalm

The wife and I drove to the Indy Goodguys and Nostalgia Drags in our 40 Ford PU street rod three years in a row.
Long trip from Springfield,Mo to Indy but worth ever mile. (y)

Thanks for the pics
Tony lee

Heck we never looked at anything newer than a 1950 custom.
Was there for three full days each time and in between looking at the old restored drag rigs we never looked at the same car twice.

Talk about being in Hot Rod Heaven :eek:hyeah

Very Nice Mike, lots of old classics, purdy sure the that wasn't a stock motor in the Henry J, Love all the Rats & custom jobs, I'm glad you had fun & thanks for sharing, always knew you was a Motor head. (y)

Wow, lots of nice iron Mike . Thought that Ford looked familiar but then again I still have aq soft spot for those 1950 style Fords particularly the coupe :drool

Thanks for posting :) Lots of work .

Cheer, Christian B)
