The buzz on the web is that HK Models will be producing the RAF/RN Spey powered Phantom (F-4K/M) in 1/32 scale. No timeline for release yet.

Cheers,
Rich

If this is true, then you'll hear me scream like a little girl from Arkansas !!

Been around modeling for awhile, but never heard of HK models?

Tim

I just checked I have the B-25 J & H Mitchell, Gloster Meteor Mk IV Fighter, Dornier Do335 B2 WWII Luftwaffe Fighter, DeHavilland Mosquito B Mk IV/PR Mk IV British Bomber ... in stock ... the B-17 is out of stock ... :pilot

They have been going to do the Lancaster since before the last 4 kits they have put out. The B-17 has a 35 inch wingspan and is a late G with the Cheyenne tail turret. That means that most of the AM decals won't work as they use the earlier type stinger tail.

Yes I have the kit along with all the Eduard PE and Brassin. Don't even want to think about the bucks in that box. :bang head

They specialise in 1/32 models and is the3 guys that braught out the 1/32 B17 :woohoo:

I have actually seen the B-17 assembled with Tamiya tape . It's huge.

Two items jumped out at me. The kit fits together like a fine Swiss watch and the guy was going to buy all these detail kits for it....Probably as much as my mortgage :facepalm

Cheers, Christian B)

I also have that B-17 kit with all the AM stuff for it. You are right Christian, it would amount to one of my monthly house notes. It's all there in the stash now for when I get ready to finally tackle it. Need some more build experience (finished build experience that is) before I want to start with the cuttee-n-choppee on it.

Plus if I hold off maybe someone wil do a stinger tail to replace the Cheyenne tail it came with. In my opinion that was a large mistake on HK part. There were far more G's that saw action that had the earlier type tail than those with the Cheyenne type.
