Coming Soon: Trumpeter M983 Hemtt w/ Patriot

Saw this, this morning while browsing the Trumpeter Facebook page.

1/35 M983 Hemtt w/ Patriot Missile system. Just listed as coming soon.

Seeing this makes me wonder if Trumpeter is going to get in on the HEMTT. There are several different variants I can think of right off the top of my head, would be interesting to see Trumpeter do a few of them.

Yea, looks like it's going to have a lot of little fiddly parts. Also has a lot more PE than I'm used to seeing out of the box.

I need to take some pics of this so I can convert an Academy 1/72 scale HEMMTT to a tractor for one of the JGSDF Patriots I plan on getting. Seems we can get one for Japan in my scale, but not the US. Interesting...

Looks good except for the stinkin rubber tires everywhere. I am sure somone will release a set of resin ones though. Another big vehicle to go with the German Famo and the Dragon Wagon.

Yea, thats pretty common unfortunately. I know I'd prefer plastic tires. And I agree, someone will definitely have tires for it pretty soon after the release.
