Saw this on another site. Albion Alloys has a Cutting tool and they have a Strut making tool. They have just released interconnect PE also. I can think of a few people who will find this irresistible Chuck, Mats, Terry, Saul , Me :D

I found it at Red Frog Hobbies and at Albion. Anyone dealt with Red Frog Hobbies? Are they any good?
James

Me too, but I dont know if Red Frog is a good company. Roll Models sells them also.

I'm not so sure about the strutter. I don't think you're going to get the airfoil profile that struts have plus most any soft grip vise inserts could do the same thing don't you think?

I use to say the same thing about the Griffin pipe being easier to cut than others because the thin wall, I got stocked up on Albion when Chuck was talking about them, just as good as, if not better than Griffin.

Really diggin' that PE stuff!

Red Frog, I now Chris has ordered from them and I ~think~ I have. I know I bought directly from them at one of the shows, think I got some JCL blades from them or maybe some chisel blades. I give them (y) James.

I'm trying to order and their order page sucks. It will see Canada, but wont allow me to put a province in. And it wants my phone number and I don't want to give that. Trying to find somewhere else as I really want that cutter.
James

I'm seeing the same thing James, only US States are listed. Might want to call them or see if one of your Canadian shops has it.

Wow, those are some nice tools.

I've ordered from Red Frog in the past, but can't remember what, but can't remember any problems either so it must have been fine.

Spend a few dollars on a set of digital calipers and those can be used to do the measuring for cutting. Have been doing it for years.

As for the tool to crunch the tube down to an oval shape, it is an OK starting idea, but am already visualizing a better tool that could possibly form more of an airfoil shape.
