BLITZ DRY

Uschi van der Rosten's BLITZ DRY that is. Now what is it?If you read the label on it:DRYING ACCELERATOR FOR OIL PAINT. It reduces drying time from 5 days to 1 HOUR! But not just that,it works as well in Oil Paint washes,as I found out while experimenting with this "Wunderbar" stuff!

Unfortunately I got myself one of the first batches of it,and the first batch had its flaws, with the pipette build in cap. With mister Glass from Uschi van der Rosten's words: Unfortunately the pipettes didnt keep their shape sometimes during transport, especially air transport. Also, the rubber responded quite funny to the liquid after a longer while. I had a pipette bottle on a shelf-life-test for like 2 weeks and looked ok. The problems started after like three weeks but a few units were sold on some shows already. Thats why this product has been delayed in its final stage once more, causing a developing time of more than a year in total. I´m really happy to have it all fixed right now. (unquote)

Here you see the old and new bottle side by side,You will notice the tape I used on the cap on the old one,the bottle got knocked over causing the pipette and cap to seperate, and the BD to be spilled. :(

The BD had some effect on the squeez part of the pipette,it made it soft like eating the squeezer.

You don't have these troubles anymore with the new bottle! Sure you loose the pipette, but I don't think that it is a big problem, just use a brush or tooth pick!

Ofcourse this is a chemical fluid, warnings are included on the bottle's text.

The new bottle gets my thumbs up for sure! It's being sold for round 10 Euro, and using it 1 drop of BD to 5 parts Oil Paint it will last for a long time before the fluid will reach its end.
Highly recommended.

Thank you very much Uschi van der Rosten's mister Alexander Glass for the review sample!

So you just mix a dab of this into your oil paints while painting?
Sounds like cool stuff, thanks!

Dang it,I forgot to add this. :bang head http://www.uschivdr.com/shopping-categories/shop-chemicals/

How neat, how do you actually apply this to the subject?

1 drop of Blitz Dry per 5 parts Oil Paint, you could use a pallette with oil paint and add the Blitz Dry.
For the ones who are not into Oil Paint for general painting, but use Oil Paint washes on models;just use it in your wash,it works mighty fine!
