Nice kit, re-box of Academy tool. No alternative in 1/72 scale.

All the best!
Dusan.

Different colors. I got that Academy kit, the NMF one that did the South American tour. Hmm...prewar. NMF. wonder why I haven't started it?

Thanks for the heads up Greg. Now the Academy kit was a B model, this is a C or D model...and...wh.."Mary Ann" decals! My heart just melted....

Was it the C and D models that were indistinguishable or B and C?

According to Ed Jablonski's book... the B and C models were almost identical. The difference being in the waist windows. The B's were bulged and the C,s were flat panels.

It was the C model that first went to the RAF as the Fortress I that were practically useless except to show how deficient the were for daylight bombing in Europe. And hasted the development of the E model.

62 bucks for a 1/72 scale? Holy cow. Its unreal what they nowadays ask for kits. I doubt at these prices that I will buy new releases very much, if any unless its on sale.
