Sikh bust

Ciao a tutti,

Waiting to start the Call to Arms campaign I've finished this little gem, a JMD bust of a Sikh soldier during WW1.

I used this bust to experiment few techniques and new colour schemes.

I hope you like it, let me know what you think.

Beautiful Giovanni. How did you get such a gorgeous leather like that? Is this in oil or acrylics. Really like the tunic and turban colours and shadows/hilites. Really stunning work. (y) (y) (y)

Thank you everyone,

I'm glad you like it!

As for your question, the bust is around 1/16th scale, smaller than most of the busts in commerce.

As for the leathers, has been the easiest part of the figure, it took me 30 minutes and 4 oil colours, straight out of the tube!

I promise I'll make a video on it soon.

Giovanni,

Somehow I missed this. I've been busy on unrelated projects.

You did your usual gorgeous job! So much character! I love all the colors.

It is an exquisite piece! (y) (y) (y)
