Well-- just picked this up on eBay a couple weeks ago--

Was thinking of going all Mad Max on it...figured I ought to open up some cabinets first- and that means opening up doors and boxing them out...;)

The engine-- also way too clean-- want to add much more detail in hoses and the like but am still trying to find good reference pics...

And lastly-- my work on the cabinets after some oils...

Thanks Peter...the detail was there- I just brought it out with the oils after a base coat of Vallejo dark flesh.

(y) the cabinets looks awesome!

Here is a pic of a dirty engine wich gives an idea how it should look :)

I looked at using some of the flesh tones for the props, looks like I should have, looks great so far Mike :soldier

Thanks guys!

Mats...thanks for the pic...I've seen a few but what I can't figure out is where is the battery and windshield washer tank? I was thinking of adding them but can't seem to see them in the pics I've found? If they are underneath, it seems it would be hard to refill your fluid?

MP...I learned that trick from your Dad during his OD class ;). He used it on his tool handles and I've used the tip ever since. Thanks to Bob Letterman for that!!

Battery is normaly on the side next the engine or inside the bus, not sure if the camper had extra batteries? the wiper fluid is somewhere in the front behind the dashboard i think.
I think with a build like this you can put some extra batteries in the back, they need that to beat all the zombies (and not end up as in the zombie movies, with a flat battery and eaten!)
Happy new year

Here you see it, but this is an older bus but it should be something like that
