Once more into the valley of the deadline rode the one.
What? …You have a couple of months… Start building and stop being dramatic
OK. So a little late to the party, but here is my entry. Bronco’s Hotchkiss in 1/35 (naturally).

This is the paint scheme that I will copy (with liberal artistic license). I have always fancied the French multicam schemes with the “cartoon?” demarcation line between the colors. No disrespect intended.

Cheers,

Bill

Watching with interest. I had one of these but the parts were so darned small I gave it away. Love the paint schemes on them also.

Thanks James.
It really is a tiny thing. I'm not sure about tiny parts. :hmmm I havn't looked that carefully yet. I think the biggest challenge will be cutting off and cleaning up, and glueing up all of those tracks. Well, ...I knew what I was getting into, so no sniveling now.
Stay in touch. More coming soon, I hope.

Cheers,

Bill

Ok, So I got a little bit done this rainy (finally!) weekend.
Nothing really to report.
Slow going because apparently there are many small parts which pose a risk of choking! :(
I'm wearing a respirator to lessen the danger. (y)
This interferes with my drinking. :pp
I'm figuring out a workaround. :idonno

Thanks for looking.

Cheers,

Thanks Gator! (y)

A little progress.

I dread the idea of painting tracks and boogies all assembled. I don’t know how you guys do it. :idonno Too many different colors next to each other. Maybe I should try it some time. I might be totally wrong. :hmmm
I thought that I would try to “pre-finish” the running gear (wheels) before assembling the tracks.

The French tri-colors were sprayed on the glacis. That will get masked with the appropriate size rectangle of tape and over sprayed with the base color. (Tamiya XF-60 : Dark Yellow. ... The green is vallejo 70833 {german cam. bright green} brushed on). The demarcation line between the colors was/is done with an ultra-fine sharpie.

Thanks for looking,

Bill

I know what you mean about the painting of the suspension and tracks. I can't do that either :D
